Inner struggle

Who was the one that left a painful mark in your heart

as i enter a world that nobody will ever understand

i find him sitting there alone in the dark

drowning himself with memories of the past on the computer screens

unable to break free from the grasp of his very own "hatred"

as i reach out to save him in this little world

a girl came to greet me with an warm welcome

i thought i was in safe hands

until she tried to murder me from this place

i never thought of a girl to become so evil and mean

but it wasn't long until someone saved me from this place

and brought me to somewhere safe

so many things were on my mind

i never had a clue of where to start

the person who saved me couldn't give me a direct answer

he only asked me to find ego

in order to find the truth and better understanding

the person was kind enough to guide me

but only i could be the one to walk down this path

when i enter a new realm

i found myself looking at thousands of mirrors around me

The reflection of only one and myself

it wasn't long until i realize

who that person on the other side is

somehow ego expected me to understand

that the girl i saw before and in his memories

were all the same person

ego explains that the girl i met before

was the virtue of "hate"

also how "hate" comes in many forms

the reason "hate" was in the form of the girl

was because of the owners hate for his past relationship

ego explains that "hate" has taken control of his heart

making him unable to think straight anymore

so ego believe deep down

that i was brought here to rescue everyone from "hates" control

and save that person i saw in that room from hate's control

i couldn't believe myself

to be the cause of his condition

how painful it must have been

to let your inner "hate" take control of one

i found the duty within my ability to save him

i confronted the demon we all face

our inner "hate"

as i was face to deal with his inner "hate"

i found strength from his kind and good virtues

each were able to lend me a hand to defeat the evil "hate"

when "hate" was down on his knee from his defeat

he explained that i could never get rid of him

everyone will always have a little bit of "hate" in them

from their sorrow and pain

he will grain power once more

ego told me that

this would be something that one needs to overcome

so i broke all those past memories on the screen

that was blinding him from his truth

when he finally woke up

everyone cheer with excitement

but when he saw me

he was left speechless

as a last attempt i gave him his closure

that was never once left behind by the girl

at first he was unable to understand it

but after he broke into tears

as he finally understood that he was living in his past

before i could say more

i discover myself slowly vanishing before his eyes

i turned to ego and asked if my job was consider done

he explained to me

"only you were the cure to his inner poison"

in a way he made me left on a good note

knowing that i would be returning home
