If you really knew me you would
know that behind the smile I hurt,
If you really knew me you would
know that I have never been
able to get along with my mom.
If you really knew me you would
know that I don't like being the
person in the back.
If you really knew me you would
know that my life has never been
great,
If you really knew me you would
know that I have never really
been able to be a kid,
If you really knew me you would
know that I hold back the tears,
If you really knew me you would
know that I still have lots to
say but just don't know
how to do so.
