Within Us All

Within Us All

Preying upon bleeding tears -
Ghosts
of yesteryear
ravage delicate souls

And I too ...
carry broken fragments
of a burning semblance
within my palm

I`d rather hold the tongue
of a dragon
and feel the exterior blaze
of melting flesh ...

Than to hold words
of a fabulist
and feel the interior suffering
of this dying soul ...

Can love be so easily
forgotten;
Raised by the sun
yet fallen by the moon

Or can it be remembered
wisely -
by the pain that lives ...
within us all

***I wanted to put this beneath the love category as it pertains more to love but could not find a suitable topic beneath love ... so neath life it is ... ***

This is amazing and the piece itself, incredable. It is very carefully laid out and worded beautifully. I haven't read or enjoyed such a sincere piece in a long time. A well deserved win. Well done, fantastic job!!
