A thought provoking piece. I read over the poem several times and just about every time I got new meanings from the words you use. The simplicity of your writing and yet the depth is very good. I couldn't single out one line I liked the best since they all seemed to flow nicely. Good job and keep writing.

This first stanza reminds me of a poem I wrote seems so long ago.

"Self appointed importance can
never be accepted by others,
do not deceive your self of your
own greatness for such measurement
is made by others."

You not only wrote a good piece of work but educated some of the self appointed. Good job , I hope to read a lot more of your work

I like this poem for its wise statements, but I was not really impressed with the wording, it was too plain for me, somehow..but it was not bad, you are a great writer..I still remember you coming up with all kind of formats in RTVW:)
