Some really unique imagery painted here, I have never heard the sunrise described as a aterfall of light, I was transported to the moon watching the sun light fall down over teh earth when i read that...top quality!!!

    Outstanding work, Austin.

This is poetry written in such a way, it is a journey, a little trip that makes you see the wonders of life.

    The moon shines forth bright
As an angel in the sky.
Tearing away the darkness into light,
    Like separating truths from lies.

    ^^
I loved the image of the angel. I have a son that looked like a little angel, complete with the red curls and chubby little body, ha ha. I like how you have woven the comparisons into your work.

    Great!

Your poem reminded me of my poem "Rise, Rise, Oh Sun" The meaning seems similar. Great job!

The way you made this poem so picturesque is amazing! The comparison of colors to the lives of people and the contrast of light and dark to lies most definetly makes this poem stand out from ordinary poetry! Great work.
