Breath

by Britania   Sep 22, 2010

When they pass
All too soon
The blackness of night recede
Fear not but take heed
For in the solemn watches of the night
A thief waits just out of sight
To steal the breath of thos whose time has come

For you too soon
For some too late
Your breath was not full
T'was stolen mid flight
Gone, without struggle nor fight
Your angel had gone
Little but God's pawn
But take solace dear one
Where you are, you will always see the sun
