A footprint in the sand is all that does remain.
Did you not see her walking along the beach of life?
She was there smiling as she walked along.
Spreading kindness, spreading cheer.
She gave us memories and gave us life.
Her wisdom and her eternal youth will always be with us.
She was here once, laughing and smiling.
She left but a footprint in the sand,
That once the tide comes will be swept away.
But we know it was there,
And that's all that matters.
