The first verse just draws the reader into the scene of a setting sun with all its colors..very descriptive and beautiful!

    Tearing clouds open
    provoking hearts to wonder

I like the usage of words here. It like digging
deep into the sky, allowing the heart to day dream...enjoyed the read!

You are working into a great poet, exploring and trying new forms. I use to try a new one every week but it's been a while for me. Maybe your work will inspire me to try again
    well done friend

Tanka is my current favourite form all down to you Jad. This poem is spectacular. Simply put images in the mind of vastness and an ever changing painting. I really thought 'tearing clouds open' was inspired. Brought me back to Australia where the sunsets are just as you have described.

This was really nice, Austin..The only thing was that it somehow was very much the same as a poem you wrote recently ( the coming day). That does not make it less beautiful off course, but I would like to see you stepping outside the box a little more:)

You did this well, good work

    5/5 Ingrid
