Hello Dear

by AngelicDecadence   Sep 24, 2010

Stirring, I come out of deep slumber,
Green eyes smile back in a pleasent way,
Wonder for a moment if it's still a dream,
But no, yesterday has in fact become today.

Laying, we stay there for a while,
Just watching as the milky fog clears,
Strong arms still wrapped around a slim waist,
We whisper gently our "hello dear's."

A simple yet loving poem that I found a joy to read. I actually liked this as it wasn't really all that cliched but just a short poem that got right to the point about wanted the reader to get out of it. All in all, a nice poem describing love for someone. Great job and keep writing.
