Do you Love Me?

by The Upsides   Sep 26, 2010

I love you,
But do you love me?
Even in my dreams,
You still say no.
I try to talk,
But I think I'm losing my voice.
Can you hear my cries?
Can you feel me breathe?
I don't think I exist,
I look in the mirror and hold my hand out,
Nothing touches.
Am I here?
Do I exist?
If I even exist to you,
Take my hand,
Take me where ever you go,
Where you go I will follow you every step of the way,
I'm lost in a nightmare,
I don't like it in this forsaken place,
With no one around,
I get lonely.
These monsters are surrounding me,
Take my hand,
And rescue me from this
Depressing place.

Perfect imagery portrayed in these opening lines, so I congratulate you, I can see the true emotion in this for example your line "I don't think I exist" such a sad line but the sadness is justified, worthlessness is a killer. 5/5

    yours truly, Dean.
