Digital Dilemma

by edsel   Sep 27, 2010

It came unannounced
the keystrokes betray
The display hiccuped
Don't play with fire
You'll get burned,
I got burned

Oh angel of sweet death
Chocolate promises
will not be enough
I tremble at the thought
of my fingertips
running through your hair

What would it feel
To touch your lips with mine
Is it blasphemy?
Am I beyond repair?
It might taste like precious wine

See.
I am already drunk
from thoughts of you
Your eyes are the most lovely
That I've seen
Even if they were Still and

Pixelized
You had an aura of
hipnotic charm and exuding
hold
even signals flactuate when

yuo're online
Tell me then, if I tell you this
If I wear my heart on my sleeve
for you to break
Will I see you in flesh?

For Oh my sweet angel of death
I died long before your
account became my page
before the pseudonyms
became legally artistic

I died somewhere in the
fantasy sphere
you holding me
your chest close to mine
our hearts beating wildly

Ah
these networks seem
ulterior
but belief is something
not to be indulge here

Not with anyone
But with You.
