Quality poem. Had to look up words and think about some things since my vocabulary isn't what it used to be, but that's a good thing lol. It helps me improve. I can feel the struggle that the poem expresses and relate and a good read.

While reading this it made me think of Poe - before I saw what you said at the bottom, so I think you hit the nail on the head with that one. The wording has a way of tangling up the simplified to make it deeper and more expressible, which I love. I also thought each stanza very complementary to one another making it all fit together so very nicely. Thanks for sharing.
