You loving her

by Iforeverpromise2   Sep 30, 2010

You slipped away quietly
and preceeded down the hall
you took out a bottle of wine
poured some and sat down on the patio
I was nearly asleep when I felt you leave
but I knew what was coming for you hadn't been yourself in days
I watched you sip your drink and stare into the moonlight and wondered what I did to lose you there that night

the following morning after you left I wrote this

Time
there was never enough time
to love you
The way my heart needs you
is the way your heart needs her

Baby I love you enough to know
that I cannot hold on to you when your heart
beats for someone a million miles away
So go to her now

Another great read! I understand you flow now, and I really appreciate your originality. This was very deep and it pulled at my heartstrings. Great job! 5/5
