16th Year

by Benjamin   Jun 18, 2004

It's finally time to find a mate to make
that wonderful perfect first date.
It's time to survive that wicked first
drive that leaves you alone away from home.
Your parents continue that boring talk
that makes you just want to get up and walk.
And when all is done and you think you've
won, you wont remember the year very clear.
Don't let people pump you up for this not
so awsome jump.
In fact I am your slowest year, I'm worse
than drinking a keg of beer.
I will be your least of fears,
I am your 16th year.
