Our piece of time

by Ronald Edwards   Oct 4, 2010

These tears swelling
in my eyes,

are not due to any lies.

They are from
the joy inside,

my heart has opened wide.

You have filled
my emptiness,

it is from your tenderness.

Be with me
right here and now,

lets rewrite our history.

Making moments
in our minds,

it surely is Divine decree.

Not hoping if
or missing out,

not being all alone.

See me cry
I love you so,

we can face the great unknown.

I will not waste
our piece of time,

I refuse to live in misery.

Say youll stay
please never leave,

this begins our memory.

Love is sometimes better in simple words, wiith real emotions. I felt this fit the bill perfectly

My comment is up there with Sylvia. The meaning of the poem runs very deep to the writer as we the readers try and comprehend what you have written, and you have written a very heartfelt piece that truly shows your love for this person whomever they may be. Good job and keep writing.

Ron, there is not much I can say about this other than these are words anyone would love to hear from the person they love. Well done.
