Painted Canvas

by Jad   Oct 5, 2010

Splashes of my creativity
spoken by words
portrayed in form,
yet clashing among itself
by contradicting thoughts.

Arduous effort captivated
simplicity-
yet meaningful,
bestowing thoughts carefully
pondering enlightenment.

Inciting thoughts ad infinitum
concise in all
as we have seen
from every generations
appreciable poets mind.

I honestly think this idea has been so overused as of late, but of course we all have to take our own stab at it and see where we can take the idea. Some words didn't seem to belong, almost as if your thesaurus was helping you at times...however, the idea of the poem and meaning is clear and I can't say it's a bad poem, it's good just a pretty stale idea for a poem for it's been used so many times...but I liked your view & aim at it...Nicely done

Paper is a poet’s canvas as you so very well worded. Excellent piece here Jad, you have aptly explained thoughts before they congeal into words. Thanks for sharing
