Stumbling

by Samie   Oct 6, 2010

She stands,
and she stumbles on the sharp edges of her life,
rain beating down on her,
she feels like she is drowning in her own personal ocean.
she struggles on every breath she takes in,
and every exhale burns her throat,
with moon as bright as it is,
she can see her face in a puddle.
her eyes are red and swollen from every tear she has shed,
no longer can a tear fall down her cheek.
As she is standing in the rain she looks up,
feeling the cold tingle of each drop smashing on her face,
its the only thing she can feel is the cold from the rain,
and the anger raging inside of her.
