Death Didn't Come Peacefully

by H. Elizabeth   Oct 6, 2010

Death didn't come peacefully for you

you layed there
frail, fragile, and worn
tired out from fighting the disease
all you felt was a pain that would never cease
every time i think about it my throat burns
every time i remember it my eyes fill with tears
you would breathe ragged breaths and silently lay there
any second i expected you to disappear
this sickness took your life away
cancer. the one word i cant say
you were my piano teacher, mentor, but most of all friend
i love you now and i loved you then

death didn't come peacefully for you

Oh my dear little twin, this really was so so sad. I've seen in some of the discussions and stuff where you have mentioned your piano teacher and the very tragic loss. I'm sure your piano teacher is looking down at you and smiling because you are such a special little lady and are going to go so far in life:) so keep doing what you do, because you are such a wonderful person:)

This is a heart wrenching tribute to a very special person that left behind more than one lesson in harmony with the tempo of life and death joy and sorrow.
