Perfect is the Biggest Lie

by StarryBlackNight   Oct 9, 2010

He told me 'Your perfect.'
But now I know I'm not.
No one is.
This world is such a waste of space.
No one says Thank you,
and No one says your Welcome.
Everyone hates everyone,
and there's no sign of love.
I'm not perfect because I can see the truth,
everything is forced,
no one means what they say.
If you look through my eyes the world is black with sin.
Take my hand and I'll show you,
the wars of the present day.
They started with just one little word,
and they'll end with the death of thousands.
Anger and lies rule this world,
because everyone fails to see the truth.
You think the world was made of love,
but it's built upon anger and hate.
He told me everyone is perfect,
but he lied and turned black with the rest.
None know of this I'm sure,
So maybe it's I who's the liar.
But if you could see through my eyes,
You'd finally be able to see,
that no one is a perfect as you think,
and the white hot rage that burns within me,
burns inside everyone else.
