I confess

by Lady Nik   Oct 14, 2010

It hurts--

What other words could
I say to make you understand?

Pain, searing through my skin
Rancid, the smell of flesh
separating from bone.
Night after night
the same old lies.

Are you happy now?

I hope so.
I can't hide from you
anymore. I don't want to
be a part of you anymore.
You kill me every time
I look into those hate strewn eyes.

What you've become is what
I fear so horrifically.
A monster, an animal, my lover.
You're warped in the most
beautiful way and I'm just
as sick for saying so.
I confess... I'm mad for you.
I plead insanity for loving you.

This is incredible. This captures everything about mind vs. heart and you put it together with great words and it all flowed so nicely, I could learn from ya haha. This is a hard feeling to admit and recognize in oneself, and being able to write about takes a lot of talent. Very well done

Feeling this way about someone but still loving them is a difficult thing to confess. Your words delivered the message very well.
