The Creature

It lives with purpose for us all
though sometimes without cause.
Man will go to great lengths
to get it breaking laws.

This creature has an elusive way
its prey ensnared without thought.
All shapes and sizes born to it,
to fool it cant be taught.

As a companion most men have found
the creature brings much joy.
Not like a bat or ball or game,
watch out cause its no toy.

The cycle runs but 28 days,
a pre and post condition.
This creature monthly changes ways
to its previous rendition.

So heed the warning past down to you,
from fathers sharing sins.
When dealing with this God made beast
beware , it always wins.
