Glass Heart

My heart is more fragile than glass
And like glass once broken
Can never go back together the same again.
Every time its broken
A little more is lost each time
Eventually nothing will be left
To be broken again.
In the end
I will be nothing
Like the void in my chest
Where a heart once was.
