A Human Stain

by Ronald Edwards   Oct 18, 2010

Past deceit, lies and sins linger
with bones in my closet.
The door pried open
allows the foul smell of yesterdays pains
to seep out and ever remind me
of the human stain that I have
and that it just wont wash away.
I am told that stench
slowly leaves as
I take out that,
garbage,
from my past,
one day at a time ...

I have never come across pain expressed in
this manner...its strong as well as vivid!

of the human stain that I have
and that it just wont wash away.

Our mistakes, acts of past and whatever that we did are indeed stains which can't be removed or washed away...like the way you
    expressed this.

The reader can truly feel the regrets and the
    sadness behind this write...touching...

Very insightful words here. Could apply to all of us. Between you and Karla, I won't have to go for therapy after all. (smiles)
