Turned To Frost

by tainted melody   Oct 19, 2010

Love came,
and then was lost.
Like the early dew,
that turned to frost.

It came so sudden,
like the storm.
Our story short,
You I'll mourn.

I'm waiting for the rays of sun.
From this pain I'll hide and run.

It was good while it lasted,
just doesn't seem to fit.
You lifted me so high,
then threw me in the pit.

That look that used to warm my heart,
is now the ice that rips apart.

What would have been our memories,
now turns us into enemies.

My future plans crushed to pieces,
My love for you now decreases.

Now when our paths cross,
all I'll feel is the frost.

Wow!!!! This poem is just awesome!! I loved the whole thing! Some parts actually gave me chills, and the other part I was sad for you because you had to experience this, but the poem was awesome and I loved all of the emotion in it also. Nice job! :)
