The November air is brisk,
so I bury my face against your chest.
We fall down together in a tangled heap,
laughing, just laughing.
I like how my body feels pressed up against yours.
Your warmth makes me smile
and your kisses make me blush.
Our noses are cold as they touch.
As we run off together,
the leaves crackle beneath our feet.
But when you swept out of my life,
there was silence, just silence.
