Absolutely beautiful. I like the way you worded it. Today i was in the garden with my son and now that i red this poem, i remember he asking me if i observe thaty the birds are leaving to find warmth in africa. I said exactly the same thing to him as you said, that they migrate but they will return. Very well done.

    From summer in Kentucky
    To fall in Tennesee
    All things spring to life
    Before winter snows on me
    >>Mich..this is a very very very flowing stanza..and truly lyrical...i felt like singing while i read it. the rhyme was perfect and not forced at all..so wat to say more!!

    From the beautiful golden hues
    After the cold does fall
    >>>amazing..i love the feeling and image over here..perfecto

Autumn leaves while we sing blues
    That are upon us all
    >>>how true and poetic!

    As the birds fly away
There is no need to cry
They will come back another day
While we all look toward the sky
    >>>MICH the line ( they will come back..) caught my attention..truly..and made me stop for a moment..
YEs very true..they will come back..
such a thoughtful ppoem..worded in a way that only a D. Nalley would word it..and used some perfect images to serve the main concept of this poem.

    5/5..excellent !

Lovely imagery ... of spring and fall
//There is no need to cry
They will come back another day
While we all look toward the sky
// loved the positiveness in these lines
    beautifully written

    Michael,

The first two stanzas were excellent, but the last one was really weak..It almost seems like you were rushing it and that is a shame, because if it had been as beautiful as the first two you would have had a gem.

It is worth a 5 nonetheless, because it is not a bad poem.

    5/5 Ingrid
