A lady of the lake, looked up Sibyl and not sure I should really call her a lady. The reference to the Pleiades I took two ways, the Sibyl was looking for the seven sisters of Greek mythology or the cluster of starts in the constellation Taurus. To me either could fit. |

Hi, Sylvia. I was thinking of the constellation. This was a poem I began last year after gazing out across a lake at night in Florida. |

Thanks Hellon, I took your excellent suggestions. Glad you liked my poem. This sibyl was a vivid impression I got while staring across a lake late at night. |

Thank you, Ingrid! Glad you liked my poem. When I started this one,I really felt and saw the sibyl in my mind's eye, it was a vivid impression, as I stared out across the tropical lake. |
