Your Not See Through

by Lost Dreamer   Oct 23, 2010

Never knew telling the truth could,
tear you apart.
From the closest person in your heart...
At the moment, yes I can tell.
It hurts you but if you really have to,
you can do it, you can pull through.
I know I lied to you,
I know this is hurting you to much,
You can't hide the pain.
Your no longer able to hide your feelings.
I'm sorry for making you shattered, destroyed,
and afraid to trust any one anymore.
It's not worth it anyways,
because it caused a war,
only between us.
I adored you, you adored me.
Only before you found out
I haven't been as faithful, and loyal as you thought.
I'm sorry to make you shout.
I'm not real, you can tell.
I joke about feelings, and break other people apart,
so they are no longer complete.
I would love a fresh start,
but I know thats not a part of what your thinking right now.
So I guess I should move on with my self,
and think about the way I make people feel.

"I'm sorry to make you shout.
I'm not real, you can tell."
This line really hit me as a perspective of saying 'i've hurt you so much that it feels unreal and that something like that could never happen.'
It's a good length of a poem for a sorrowful story.
