Looking to the past and finding nothing
Looking to the future and finding a dark and bumpy road
Why couldn't this have been easier for me?
Why do you have to be so difficult?
No one ever told me this would be easy
But then again nothing is ever easy
So now I'm stuck with nothing or a hard road
I chose this road so I have to deal with it
I wouldn't be this way if you hadn't left
If you hadn't left me the way you did that is
I can't forgive you for what you've done
But know this...it won't ever happen again
