Definitely a winner for me - I just loved the imagery , it was definitely excellent and there was a sort of tone that made me even more interested , each line really tugged at my heart. Haven't read a poem like this in quite some time, I think I do agree with the punctuation, some commas aren't needed, it would make the flow a bit more smooth if some were removed, I think one quick read through you'll be able to find the ones that aren't necessary. An awesome write, one to be recognized.

I agree with Britt, this is well written indeed. It paints a vivid picture of the hell called war.

Such a sad poem and the ending just sums
up all the feelings and pain about war; and a
delicate rose in the midst of all this to symbolise human life..beautifully penned.
