It's A Lie

by LaChapparita   Oct 25, 2010

You told me along time ago
That this world has people that are needed and people who aren't

That was a lie

Wasn't it?

It's a lie

There's no one needed in this world
Nobody
Not a single person
Parents, teachers, great men and women, kids, or adults

Me or you

The world doesn't care who lives and dies
It still keeps bringing days and nights and time
I'm sure that the world doesn't need anyone

It's a lie that there are people who are needed and not.

This is very, very deep. I look at it in a few different perspectives which are hard to explain but this poem is a real questionaire and very debatable. True, the world does not need anyone or anything, and people don't really need someone else, but humans have a soul which desire. We can think, choose, and believe. Chase for what you desire. <3
