Faced Down

by TheVampire   Oct 26, 2010

The sky turns grey,
i look away,
from a love i thought i knew.

You were here,
now you're there,
how am i going to make it through?

I grasp the air,
my eyes stare,
at a person who's not there.

Nothing around,
heart faced down,
this life is really not fair.

Bleeding eyes,
I despise,
Who have I really become?

Skin is pale,
taste is stale,
remorseful of things I've done.

Start to miss,
your addicting kiss,
but now that has disappeared.

My heart haults,
it's all my fault,
I'm am why you're no longer here.
