So I Said A Little Prayer

JULY 25TH 2007

I awoke this morning with A smile ,
It was much to my surprise !
Lonely days are such an emotional trial,
Love lost has been my demise .

But I had A rare moment yesterday,
I saw A sparkle, the reflection of love .
It made me wish I knew what to say,
So they would cherish their gift from above!

SO I SAID A LITTLE PRAYER

Lord shine your light of understanding,
Of this gift, they hold in their hand.
Let them never be too demanding ,
When their problems are but A grain of sand.

Give them satisfaction,
Just by looking in each others eyes.
Let them avoid the bad reaction,
Of telling each other lies.

When one has A fault , let the other be blind.
may they never end their day in anger.
And if ever they are tempted, may they never find,
Themselves in the arms of A stranger!

Instead may they find their greatest pleasure,
In growing closer to each other.
As for love and understanding, give them an extra measure,
should they ever become father and mother.

Lord let them always be willing,
To give more of themselves than they ask,
So that their lives are truly fulfilling ,
And may their future be brighter than their past

To Ryan & Kristen
I pray that you find this as much more than
just words of rhyme, but a simple guide to
achieve all that you both deserve.
For you only accomplish that which you strive for.
that which comes easily is usually of no value

All my love, Uncle Jim
