Were you feeling alone and distressed,
afore the time when our feelings coalesced?
For me that's surely the way it was,
uncertain of the way my day would course.
But then that aura only love can cast
came to us and took away the past,
leaving two hearts with just one beat,
in a space where we became complete...
How ever can I find a phrase to tell,
the feelings that deep inside did swell,
the rise in heat, the wide eyed gaze,
a surge of blood that did us both amaze.
And though the years a many came and went,
in all that time I never could have spent
a day without your presence on my mind,
nor wish to seek, nor want to find
any other love but yours and mine,
to sustain us till the end of time....
