Sad For Them

by H. Elizabeth   Oct 31, 2010

***** This is dedicated to Jefferson, Jackson, and Lauren M.
Their parents and mom's grandfather were actually murdered by the mother's step-uncle. The step-uncle was angry because he was cut out of a will and Jefferson's mom got the house she, Jefferson, Jackson, and Lauren moved to (the dad and mom got divorced, but they still loved each other. They just couldn't live together). The dad was just coming to drop the kids off at the new house. The step-uncle came in angry and Jefferson is the oldest and he saw that the man was angry and had a gun. Jefferson took Jackson and Lauren outside to play with the dog. He saved their lives because after they went out side Jefferson, Jackson, and Lauren heard gunshots. Jefferson ran to the window and saw the step-uncle standing over the bodies of his parents. The kids ran next door to get help and while they were running, they heard another gunshot. The step-uncle killed himself. *****

I crawled back into bed
I laid down my hurting head.
How could they have been killed?
I ask myself.
My tears spill from my eyes,
I cry and cry.
Where will their kids go?
The tears flow and flow.
I can't believe they were murdered.
Their kids are hurt.
It was the step-uncle who did the crime.
It was the step-uncle who made those kid's parents die.
The step-uncle shot the parents while the kids were outside.
At least the kids are still alive.
Jefferson, Jackson, and Lauren.
Amazing kids as breathtaking as gems.
I'm so sad for them.

**** Jefferson, Jackson, and Lauren and currently living with their grandparents.

I LOVE YOU JEFFERSON, JACKSON, AND LAUREN. They still come to visit my town sometimes. Jefferson is a very good friend of mine. ****
