We live here... but we don't look at it

by Marcus blake   Oct 31, 2010

It's our home
So why does it look so ugly
I can stand being here
But it's where I live
It's where I sleep...
If I could leave I would
But invisible chains
Hold me
Ground me
Keep me here
But I've made plans
And one day I will leave this place
Cause the memories make me cry
And the people aren't worth the time
So why should I stay
There is nothing more here for me
This house has done all it can
And even it! can't withstand
The hate we harbor for it...
But still we liver here
Our empty words make way in the silent world
To no avail as it falls on deaf ears
Cause no one cares about us...
Remember we just live here
We don't look at it
