I loathe implacability

by Poet on the Piano   Oct 31, 2010

You peel away the angled mirrors
until no light is reflected
and night vision erases itself.

you hide your bombs within me
forcing my mind to combust
in self-inflicted cosmic pressure.

you challenge my goodness
and purity of heart
while I consider breaking.

when will I hold the word
that won't separate everyone
the day I admit my honesty?

This was deep and complex. Short but to the point. I found it brilliant and intense. Worded with perfection.

Hear, hear! I could not agree more, MaryAnne!

Why is it so that people have so much trouble with those who are honest enough to speak their mind..I have no answer, just know it is true in many cases and then you get this feeling of having to choose between living a lie or living alone:(

It makes me sad to read this, I can feel your pain, girl.

The way you wrote posted this, without caps, gave it something very direct and intimate.

    Good work!
