Breaking.

by iFallToPieces   Nov 1, 2010

The girl seems strong, but shes breaking inside,
Nobody knows how much she contemplates suicide,
Shes hiding behind a smile, she seems as happy as can be,
Nobody know that late at night she whispers; I dont want to be me.

Her arms are laced with scars, and some are pretty new,
You would have no idea how much she has to hide from you.
You'd never know that every night, she cuts her skin,
All those dark feelings are revealed from within.

She hates herself more than you could even bet,
She has done so many things that she regrets.
Her dreams wake her up and little does she sleep,
Theres so many times at night she regrets not cutting too deep.

Shes getting better at hiding, she smiles when inside she wants to cry,
She cant let herself break; she has to continue with her lies.
Her patience is wearing thin and she doesnt know what to do,
This is normally about the time she'd start talking to you.

Shes getting closer to the edge, but she can not break,
She doesnt know what to do, so many choices to make,
Nobody will know what shes hiding inside,
Would anybody even care if she committed suicide?

    I love this part :).
Showing how hurt she truly is & that its the only release from the pain.

This poem is so good. Shows how hurt she is & how nobody even knows the truth.

-i relate to this alot, him being the person she talked too.

Great Job. You could visualize this happening, and it was just an amazing poem :)
