Dance of the Spirits

by Poet on the Piano   Nov 4, 2010

Quiet curtains pick up their tails,
leaving toward Arctic drift
where magnetism pulls them
into a wintry trance.
Solar winds flow
and conduct ionic nostalgia,
a parallel current warmed
only by night viewers.
Nitrogen emissions shield
the fire and ice spectrum
unaccidental collisions
contemplated from space.
