I Thought You Were The One?

by Dominique Lewis   Nov 4, 2010

I thought you the one who I have been waiting for my whole life, but I guess I was wrong.
I should of known you didn't love me because of all the signs and hints you gave me,but I just ignored them.
I never thought I was that stupid to fall for your lies.
I knew you didn't actually love me, I could see it in your eyes.
I don't believe I literally thought I deserved someone like you, all you are is a joke.
I know you aren't worth the tears that slide down my face, but I still cry when I remember all the times we had.
And I just say to myself I thought you were the one.
