What U Gave Me

You made the land for people to call home.

You made the oceans for creatures to swim.

You made the trees for shelter and clean air.

You made fresh water for all to drink, I love the cool feeling upon my skin.

You made me different from others, so I could be simply unique.

You made light so I could see the worlds beauty.

You made the darkness so I could sleep.

You made things unknown so I could learn.

You made seasons cool and warm so I could experience both.

You made me young so I could grow.

You made the stars for me to reach for.

Thank you God for all you’ve given me.
