Hot Chocolate Lovers?

by BlueEyedMystery   Nov 6, 2010

The frost is seeping in again. Moving through our land like a plague, at least that's how most people see it. But I always had a soft spot for something that could shake my whole body just with a simple breeze. Like some terrible [lovely] disease.

It's a little disturbing to watch your breath float away. Flying though the air like it had been trapped inside of you for so long, it just couldn't wait to be free. It makes you feel a little lonely.

This kind of weather has always made solitude seem so glamorous. Like being by yourself was how it's supposed to be. You don't need anyone else, the falling leaves will keep you company.

But I'm glad you're with me this time. It's kind of nice to have someone to lean in against when a chill tries to claw its way through your skin.

And if you'll hold me forever, I'll pick you over this lovely winterland everytime, because I kind of like how you warm my heart into an icicle puddle. If you'll hold my hand, we can jump in it and crush the coldness out of my heart once and for all. We can be hot chocolate lovers curled up with a nice book. You can read to me about all the nice things in life, and I'll fall asleep on your shoulder. We can sleep through winter like the bears, and when we wake up the flowers will greet us, and we can live happily ever after, just like in all the fairytales that I didn't think were really true.

We can do all those things if you want to, but it's really up to you.

Beautiful, simply beautiful. Winter is a most comforting yet dangerous beauty. And can definitely make solitude look like a wonderland of peace. But nothing compares to having someone to share those cold nights with. Such a heartfelt sentiment. No doubt an enjoyable read :)
