My eyes lurk around the room
I try to find a spot so calm.
I look and search for a single bliss
To ponder for a while for things I miss.

I see you strong and joyous
You see me weak and cautious.
I hear you speak happy thoughts
You hear me weep my worldly woes.

A heart of mine so precious, I admit.
My soul I protect so dearly, I commit.
People, self-indulgent and cruel, try to break me.
Real ones, true and faithful, save me with loyalty.

I have been betrayed and hurt a billion times, you see
But I stand and fight for those that gives me glee.
I have given love and been loved a number of times,
But I still find myself doubtful and scared of the new ones.

I wish for that single person to save me from all these misery
That very person that wouldn’t give up on me.
Where are you, beautiful creature?
I need you to show me a new adventure.
