TO MY WIND

by April Yorobe   Nov 7, 2010

The wind blows swiftly now,

I sit here wondering how.

I'd love to think life that way,

to live at ease in my own say.

Life isn't as simple as you may seem,

people try to fix it in a dream.

I cling to the belief of happiness,

a free will I beg to possess.

I ponder everyday for what i want,

what they say, lingers in my head every minute.

A situation I'm stuck with for the present while,

working hard to break free feels worthwhile.

Oh dear wind, please take me far away,

I'd sacrifice this life just for your pure generosity.

A gift that my soul unendingly shouts for,

a present that my heart secretly beats for.
