Confidentiality

by Michael D Nalley   Nov 9, 2010

We have thought of our confidentiality
As a treasured and secured reality
Many feelings are so transparent
Heart, soul, and mind are apparent

The question of who can be trusted
May leave our confidence disgusted
Passionately moving in reason we rest
Sharing with those we wish to test
Off the record we all may say
The truth shall be known someday
Mirror mirror on the wall
Who is the fairest of us all?

Seven dwarfs of Snow White, or a deadly sin
Couldn't put the princess back together again
Confidentiality doesn't have to be a fairytale
I would mind my own business should all else fail

There were a couple of ways one could interpret this poem. I was overall impressed with this poem and it came with such a great force from beginning to end, one doesn't really notice when he/she is reading it. The rhyme in some parts seemed a little forced but again in rhyming that can't be helped sometimes. There were many emotions in this piece and I found it all a beautifully painted poem. Great job and keep writing.
