Reveal your denotations

by Poet on the Piano   Nov 10, 2010

Whitespire's low canopy hung off long hand extensions,
while the sour birch prostrated before your beady eyes
and you sat diagonally, stunned.

Acid rain hissed, battling the timekeeper of synchronization,
unpolluted strikes that seared their chemical into your throat
and you swelled like the desert mountain atop a sand storm.

Watch me balance as you break apart compounds.

Your poems always hold such a mysteriousness to them, they are definitely very original and you have the most unusual yet interesting inspiration for your poems. I can't really tell you what I think this poem is about, but having a title like you do sums up the main point. I thought that you were using a snake as your metaphor, but I'm probably completely wrong...your poems never leave me bored but always left pondering. You have quite the imagination that I don't think I've ever seen any other poet have.
