Just a Thought

by Jad   Nov 10, 2010

Love passes like the day
lighting up new paved ways,
etching memories in place
weaved together as if laced.

Shaping hearts into one beat
Always something to keep:
The treasured times alone
Stitched, metaphorically sown.

Breathing two lives in each breath,
Acknowledging all that's left
In this forgotten broken heart,
Trying to hold it back from being apart.

My start was my final ending
as all things start rending,
turning waste of all things fought
though all along it was just a thought.

Third stanza, breathe should be breath... and the last stanza I thought was a little forced on the rhyme. Aside from that, you always have a unique, wonderful way of expressing yourself to the fullest...this poem was no different.

Sometimes we fill ourselves sadness with just a thought about love, life. What relief it is to realize that is was just a thought, not reality.
