My Life

by Sunshine   Nov 12, 2010

Why be colder than the snowiest season
of the year?
Howling 360 times whenever I wake up.

I open my shivering eyes through the
wildness of each roaring moment,
that passes me by sharper than these precise icicles
-Somewhere, at the edges of a wintry cave;
deep inside my world's dreary forests

where I cross thorny lands with bare feet;
that lost sensation though bleeding
tokens of bloody tears..
For the snow beneath to sip.

Battling to survive cold hours of endless days,
to fight freezing ones..
Leaping from dark nights, losing my path
through darker ones
Running away from thundering mornings,
as I skip a breath
Among violent storms, from the white branches
of a daily winter
that passes by almost like a whole year

-when ever I wake up

    Nana, I can hear you, I can feel your pain and I wish to God I had an answer, but I don't..at times I feel like He has a plan, but often, when I see how much sadness, pain and suffering there is in this world, I start to doubt. There is no end to the suffering and there will never be. The only thing that makes life worth living is the love we share with friends and family and the love for God.

    Sure dear :) thanks a lot.
    and 360 represents the number of the days per year ..as in :

    360 days = one year.
    So what I was trying to reflect was the length and the how each day of my life is being cruelly spent .

    WOW! Beautiful! I absolutely love this. I'm adding this poem to my favorites.

    The only problem I had was... I actually don't understand this line:
    "Howling 360 times whenever I wake up."
    I don't know if I'm being blonde :} and totally missing something known as common sense but it just didn't make sense.

    But I honestly am sitting here trying to figure out what part was my favorite and I couldn't choose. You did an amazing job! The images you created in my head are beautiful. I am actually an artist and I would like to draw this:

    -Somewhere, at the edges of a wintry cave;
    deep inside my world's dreary forests

    where I cross thorny lands with bare feet;
    that lost sensation though bleeding
    tokens of bloody tears..
    For the snow beneath to sip.
    -If I ever do draw it I'll post it and message you to see it. lol

    Merveilleux!
