Silence Spoke To Me

by WakingFreedom   Nov 14, 2010

Silence spoke to me
From the confined spaces
of the Universe
in hushed whispers
that echoed off the
walls of gravity
and entered through
the back door of my heart.
Silence said nothing
but still continued speaking.
twinkling in the stars
and pawing across leaves.
raising goosebumps
upon my arms and
warming my spine.
Nothing was silence said
as I laid my head down
to have the soft touch
of sleep take me away
to where dreams play
in my head only to
be forgotten in the
morning of a new light.
Maybe silence will speak
with words tomorrow
so I can understand
the meaning of these words
Or maybe I will just
keep listening for the
words never spoken at all

This is amazing! Why no one has commented I have no clue, but I think it is fabulous and so creative. There is a beautiful use of imagery, a wonderful flow, a great choice of words, and a wonderful message/meaning/story. 5/5
