Crying Kisses *Revised*

by Whisper   Nov 15, 2010

Crying is a hard thing to do
You never understand
You ask if my reasons are valid
Or if my tears are simply planned.

I've never understood this
Why not hold me tight?
Love is an action word
Not shown in a fight.

I just want you to comfort me
And wipe my tears away
But all you say is, "suck it up"
And I cry anyway.

You look deep into my eyes
As a tear streams down my cheek
We walk outside, into the rain
And I ask you, "Am I weak?"

You tell me, "Don't act like that,
You're stronger than you think."
I look up at you and smile soft
You look at me and wink.

I ask you why you walk away
And look you in the eye
You tell me that it's not my fault
You just hate to see me cry.

You said, simply, that you hate it
Seeing me in pain
You grab my hand and spin me
Dancing in the rain.
